Whence I seek, I do find
a place within my mind- a place of creativity, begetting sur-reality. Therein there art surging skies of fire- that which art burning like love-desire. With lakes like marble glinting, seemingly at love hinting. Majestic mountains melt more and more into shining seas without a shore; the light of the gold sun shatters unto the sky of night, begetting stars that shine like a love's eye! There art waters of pools; free from life's pain- ghouls. Loosed from the bonds of time- 'tis this dream place, this joy-clime. Alas! That place in my mind continues to wane! Harken! For 'tis not the same manner with my pain! No, no, my pain continues to wax, and blighted and hurting soul it doth tax! Ah, would it not be ever grand, if life 'twere that of a dreamland? |
