Ok so lately everyones been getting happy with the report button, so I'm going to say this once and only once.
ANY FALSE REPORTS OR EXCESSIVE REPORTING FOR MINOR OFFENCES WILL RESULT IN YOU BEING OFFICIALLY WARNED. We understand sometimes you can take something a bit hard, so you'll always have the benefit of a doubt, but reporting someone who calls you an idiot, is the kind of thing I'm talking about. It wastes my time and it wastes your time and frankly I don't like the inbox clutter. |

Actually, come to think of it i've reported 2 people. 1 of them was a serious report. 2 one was because I had a gu stalking me and it annoyed the hell out of me. I wonder how many reports i've received... -------------------- |

Just to clarify about what is excessive reporting. Excessive reporting is things like, complaining about someone for saying 'ur not hot'. Ok perhaps not that drastic but you get the point
reporting arguments to us when its pretty obvious you both insulted each other over petty trivial matters also count as excessive reporting. Please dont feel afraid to report something if you think it is unacceptable. I personally will NOT up someones warning level IF i can see where they're coming from. If they're wasting mod time then i will. oh and we get reports from well known members too. Its not just new members that report.

I don't see the point in reporting someone unless it's really serious and what they do could actually end up hurting someone.

that's why on Newgrounds each member has a "whistle" status. People who abuse the "report" button end up with a broken whistle and basically have their report button disabled.
