Dear Emo-Corner Forum users,
I decided to start a "movement"
I'ts mainly about trying stop emophobia but we would also try to stop homophobia and other types of unfair judgement against people because of their race, sex, and or sexuality.
The name until now will be "Emophobia is a disease" but if you have any suggestion it can still be changed.

I decided we should start with a myspace page but here is where I need you I want this to be an effort by everyone thats why I want YOU to help ME so we can help EVERYONE.

The only thing I'm looking for in contributers is that they want to make a better world.
The first task will be to discuss what will the myspace page include (what facts, help to write the intro, etc.) to join just PM me and I'll send you the information the way we will most likely discuss how we will do this will be through a MSN chat with everyone interested (if you dont want to give out your e-mail adress or dont use MSN you can do another account and tell me the adress and I'll add you)

When the myspace profile is open people that want to help will also be able to help in posting news, updates and everything we can think of.

Thank you
Now I leave you with a part of one of my favorite songs

"You may say that I'm a dreamer
But I'm not the only one
I hope someday you'll join us
And the world will be as one"
(Imagine by John Lennon)

will it be against all generalisation though?

will it be against the use of words like prep & chav?

i think you'll find most people that have a problem with the victim mentality & hypocrisy of many emo kids aren't racist or homophobic...i think placing them as the same problem may be a little short sighted

GOOD LUCK!!

Yup, my belief is that people should label other people because we are all different and with this we will try to show people we shouldn't label people, treat them badly or think they are less because of how they act, what they like, their beliefs, etc. because after all we are all human beings.

If you are interested don't hesitate to tell me, this movement could really need you.

I don't have a problem with labels, exept for when they are overused.

For example, I don't have a problem with saying somebody is a prep, chav, jok, emo etc. But I don't like it when people treat them better or worse depending on what they are labbed or when people overuse them.

I cant say i think its going to go places..

But you might aswell try.. If anything it will conquer some boredom and give other people something to complain about.

Well if people joined we might as well achieve something, but it seems that until now people prefer flaming than helping
