Another Forum, it was worth a try Options

This suggestion just occurred to me when I was standing outside my locker at school.

I was thinking of having another forum.

I don't think this will be successful but it is worth a try.

I was thinking of a forum dedicated to sport, now I know this is an emo site but some other thread have been about wrestling and boxing etc by certain members. Here we can just discuss about world wide sports and recent events like the French Open in Tennis or State of Origin (an Australian thing, I support Maroons but I think BMBTL supports the Blues ).

Just stuff like that, I know Jessticles and some others love wrestling and watch it , but yeah if this forum goes ahead I guess other things could be added to it. I guess this might be best as a subforum in EC games? or EC entertainment?

Feel free to make sports related threads. I don't personally think it would warrant enough traffic to need a sub-forum of its own. Emo entertainment was merged with the hangout for the same reason. It's off-topic talk for stuff which doesn't relate to other areas of the forum. 

It's a great thing to talk about, of course, I'm not trying to stop that. I just don't think you need another forum for it. 
Technically we could add about 50 sub-forums for every possible topic of conversation. We don't do that on purpose.

I'm more inclined to agree with you. I don't think it's a good idea. I personally like sports, and I did start that World Cup thread in the hangout. Doesn't mean someone can't start a thread on a particular sport or a sports story in the hangout.

There's always 4chan's sport board, which is actually very good and full of well informed people who clearly know and love their sports. I'm not a big sport-nut, but I have participated in some extreme sport threads, and some other stuff too, and I'd recommend the board. No trolls there either, mods are strict on some boards. Tried trolling there last year and I got b& from all boards for a week. Shit sucked, but of course I got around the ban before the week ended.

Honestly considering people don't make many topics that associate with sport, I don't think we need a Sport forum. Oh and btw I am a maroon's fan..lol

Besides, it's an emo forum, and sport definitely does not play a part in the emo subculture of punk. We are, by nature, skinny, weak, stick boys.

We have a games forum and if you want topics that are like a sporty or whatever then feel free to post some.
