So Harry and I will be running a music playing room fairly frequently, for those of you who are familiar, we're using MuMu player. It's a room where all users can upload songs and the entire room listens to a song at a time. IF you want to come on in and upload some diverse music to listen to, you're more than welcome. Openly discuss it, have some fun, keep an open mind.
Right now, this is our room:

If there is any interest shown in this, I will create a permanent EC room. Get involved EC! This is for you to not only expand your musical horizons but to also expand other peoples' and talk about music in an intelligent way.
-CHECK HERE FOR THE CURRENT STATUS OF THE ROOM. A NEW POST WILL BE MADE WHEN IT GOES ONLINE.
-Room is currently -GOD IS DEAD- ( ._.)

Some ground rules
1 - Do not change the currently playing song if you don't like it. The point of this player is for people to listen to music together and hopefully broaden people's musical tastes. I don't care if you want to listen to postprogressive dreamfunk and someone uploaded technical speedpunk with blackened xylophones we don't give a shit.
2 - Try not to upload the same type of music over and over. Diversity is the key. (I'll try and get Staton not to post a million prog metal bands in a row.) ( ._.)
3 - Don't be a dick to others and insult their music. Some intelligent discussion is alright but when it gets down to childish namecalling etc we do have the ability to kick you.
4 - If we see plebcore like BOTDF, Asking Alexandria and shit like that being posted we will probably remove it. Diversity is alright. Absolutely terrible music is not.
If you have any suggestions or anything post them here. This is just a thing we're going to try out so any ideas and what not are appreciated.

I've never been involved in anything like this, but it sounds like a really cool idea. I'm not sure if I'll be online at the time that most of the members are, but if I am, Staton remind me to give it a go.
As long as it doesn't end up being one massive BVB/MCR fest
OR permanent death metal and growling.
Awesome things to start up though guys, I really hope it goes well because it sounds like it could be a really awesome aspect to the forums and a really good thing to do.

We should also occasionally have a Special night, where it's dedicated to a certain genre, or something of that sort.

Yeah Harry and I had talked about that, playing entire concept albums or tributes or certain things. We'll be working to try and spice it up.

I tried once. Nobody was there. Played some sweet tunes. Realized I was all alone. Left.

It's best to use the shoutbox to set it up and see if people are online to do it.

If people are still participating when I have real internet, I am so in. It sounds interesting and I'm always up for new music.

Do we HAVE to upload music? I doubt the music I listen to is appealing to a few people here.

I uploaded a bunch of Wad$worth a few days ago... listened to it all by myself. About halfway through, I switched over to VLC instead since it was going unappreciated by any but myself.
Tried to rally support in the shoutbox but as usual, apathy reigned supreme.
